Choosing The Right Treatments

   Tis' the season of beautiful hairstyles. As we are winding down to the last few days of the year, What will you be doing with your hair? The winter months are very harsh to our tresses, leaving our hair dry and brittle without proper care. Your visits to the salon are crucial at this time. Learning about hair treatments and what type of treatment is best for your hair type or what is needed for your hair. By this time we get very bored with our hair and we try different styles that include lots of heat or too much product use. You must stay on top of your hair care. At my salon, I make it mandatory for my clients to have a deep moisture treatment every visit. Although, they are getting the proper moisture, hair needs protein also. Keeping ends trimmed every 6 weeks is a big factor in maintaining healthy hair. What are your regimens for keeping your hair healthy? If you are not visiting your stylist on a routine basis, What do you do at home?

 Here are a few of my recommendations for healthy hair:

1. Steam Treatments: This can be preformed at home as well as the salon
        *Monthly steam treatments keeps and protects the hair's quality
        *Softens and restores moisture
        *Promotes a healthy scalp
        *Stops dryness, breakage, and split ends

2. Keratin Protein Treatments:
        *Keratin fills hair w/ natural proteins
        *Decreases damage due to chemical abuse
        *Stops breakage

3. Deep Moisture Treatment
        * Adds moisture to dry frail hair
        * Repairs dry brittle hair
