Black Tea Rinse
Did you know that a simple tea bag could help you reduce your hair shedding? Shedding is a very normal process, all it means is the hair has reached the end of its growing cycle and the hair falls out so that new hair can grow. On average we should shed 50 to 100 hairs a day. I know this seems excessive right?
However, if you experience more than the normal which is usually caused by stress, weight loss, medication, and about 50 other possibilities, doing a black tea rinse just may help.
DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is a hormone causing hair follicles to shrink making it impossible for healthy hair to survive. It's the hormonal process of testosterone converting to DHT which then harms the follicles. Black tea contains caffeine which is known to block DHT. Caffeine is acidic in nature, removes DHT from the scalp and reduces hair shedding. Not only does it reduce shedding it provides softness to the hair, volume and shine. I do recommend a 30 minute deep penetrating conditioner, black tea rinse tends to lack giving the hair moisture.
What You Will Need:
1. Pot
2. 5 Tea Bags
3. 3 Cups of Water
4. Spray Bottle
5. Plastic Cap
